FAQ
Financing and insurance—do you support those?
Yes, we can assist you with guidance on financing options and insurance for container-based homes. Because this type of home is less traditional, some lenders or insurers may require additional documentation—but we’ll help you navigate those steps.
Can I tour a model home?
Yes. We invite you to visit our model home in Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL) to see, touch, and feel the craftsmanship and quality that set us apart. Tours available daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Do I need to handle permits, site work, and utilities myself?
We streamline the process for you. Our team manages every step from site surveys, foundation and grade work, engineering and code-compliance, permitting, and utility hookups in many markets—so you don’t have to coordinate multiple vendors.
What about resale value and longevity?
Our homes are built to last, with robust container-steel structure and storm-resistant design. While resale markets for container homes are still evolving, buyers increasingly recognize their value: lower maintenance, durability, and sustainability. With proper care, you can expect a long service life and strong value retention.
Where can these homes be placed/installed?
Placement depends on local zoning, building codes, and site conditions. We work in Florida and handle many of the code and site challenges up-front. For other states or regions, we’ll review your property to determine feasibility. Local soils, flood zones, utilities, and permit requirements will all matter.
What is the timeline from order to move-in?
Timelines vary depending on customization, permitting, site readiness, and delivery logistics. In general, once your order and site work are confirmed, the home manufacture, delivery, installation, and inspection can be accomplished significantly faster than many traditional builds.
